You might have heard us mention the Dorset Children’s Foundation – our charity partners – in the last few weeks since we started working with them. In a short space of time, we have grown very fond of them and we’re increasingly amazed by their energy, determination and what they have achieved in helping local families.
We went along to their Boscombe shop to chat with Patsy, Adrienne, Jayne, Kitty and her mum Lisa. We’ll let them do the talking, please take a moment to watch this short video. Big hugs x
Charity dinner at Urban Reef – 21st November
If you would like to help us raise funds for the DCF and enjoy a night out at Urban Reef, now is your chance. We are hosting a dinner on the 21st November and tickets are available now at £25 each with all profits going to the charity.
Chef Wayne is working on a special set menu and asking local suppliers to donate ingredients so we can give more money to the DCF and staff are volunteering to work for free. On the night there will be live music from Alex Deutsch, a raffle to win prizes and Mark will chat informally with Patsy about why she and Scott set up the charity, the families they have helped and plans for the future.

‘Breton’ style fish soup
Tomato based French style fish soup served with saffron rouille, Ford Farm mature coastal cheddar & crisp croutons
Crown prince squash & chickpea falafel
Baba ganoush, tomato, mint & basil relish, baby herbs
‘Hot’ smoked salmon
